Secretary Sebelius hosts Indonesian Minister of Health

September 15, 2009 - Secretary Kathleen Sebelius hosted Indonesian Minister of Health Dr. Siti Fadilah Supari on Tuesday, September 15, 2009.  The two leaders discussed deepening cooperation on public health, biomedical science and clinical research between the U.S. and Indonesia.  Representatives from public health and research directorates within the Ministry of Health conferred with their HHS counterparts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes for Health and the Office of Global Health Affairs.  Secretary Sebelius and Minister Supari released a Joint Press Statement about future collaboration between the U.S. and Indonesia.
